The Walter Martens and Sons Funeral Home was founded in 1948 by Pauline and Walter Martens, Sr. and continues to be owned and operated by the Martens family. The business was created on a foundation that service is our priority and for sixty years continues to be our priority.

The exterior of our facility has taken on many changes to adapt our growing business and to meet the needs of our customers.

1985 An indoor ramp was added to make our facility accessible to those with disabilities.

1986 We created our Bereavement Library containing all kinds of materials and resources for bereavement support.

1989 We expanded our parking facilities nearly doubling the space.

2004 We installed our new unique showroom which allows you to view our selection of caskets, urns, memorial merchandise, burial clothing and flowers all on site.

2006 We expanded and renovated our arrangement offices.
